Key responsibilities

Working in close cooperation with our Time & Frequency engineers and world-leading experts in Time and Frequency products, your responsibilities will include design, development and maintenance of our Time & Frequency services at Netnod. The team is small and effective consisting of both consultants and employees.

In this role, you will:

• participate in the testing and deployment of new solutions and software in the Time & Frequency production systems

• participate in the planning and implementation of the future architecture of our Time & Frequency production systems and services

• help debug and resolve problems in our production Time & Frequency systems using a systematic problem-solving approach

• improve and develop the algorithms for the steering and the timescales

Qualifications

You are a structured team player that likes working both on your own and in projects. You possess a good ability to identify, break down and solve problems. We welcome recent graduates applying for this role, with the following qualifications:

• Degree (MSc/PhD) in Computer science, Metrology, Mathematics or similar

• strong analytical skills

• good language skills in both English and Swedish

To succeed in this role you will need:

• interest in time and frequency metrology

• interest in design and operation of IP-based time and frequency distributions solutions

• interest in working with algorithms in the Time & Frequency area

Note: This role is covered by the Swedish Legislation on Protective Security Act and is subject to security screening and background checks. For this reason, Swedish citizenship is required for the role.

Location

This position is located at our office in Solna.  

The role reports directly to Head of SRE.
